Wanted Man Detained And Meth, Fentanyl Recovered And After Call For Suspicious Activity In Parking Lot

An Annandale man is facing several counts after a call about suspicious activity in a parking lot resulted in a large drug bust.

The arrest occurred early Monday morning in a parking lot on N. Pierce Street in the Fort Myer Heights area of Rosslyn. After responding to the call, police claim they found drug paraphernalia “in plain view” inside a car and discovered that one of the two occupants had an outstanding warrant.

NARCOTICS VIOLATION, 2025-08040018, 1300 block of N. Pierce Street. At approximately 1:58 a.m. on August 4, police were dispatched to the report of suspicious persons in a parking lot. Upon arrival, officers made contact with two individuals inside a car and observed drug paraphernalia in plain view. During the course of the investigation, officers determined one of the individuals was wanted out of Orange County, Virginia and took him into custody on the outstanding warrant. Following the execution of a search warrant on the vehicle, officers recovered approximately 61 grams of methamphetamine, suspected fentanyl pills, a vial of eutylone and multiple drug ingestion devices. [The suspect], 49, of [Annandale], VA was arrested and charged with Possession of Schedule I/II Controlled Substance and Possession with Intent to Distribute Controlled Substance and served with the outstanding warrant.
