Police: Man Dies After Being Discovered With Head Wounds On Chicago Street

A man died Wednesday night after being discovered unconscious in the street with head trauma on Chicago’s Far North Side.

Officers were called around 7:30 p.m. to the 1400 block of West Estes Avenue in Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood.

When they arrived, they discovered a 46-year-old man lying in the roadway, unresponsive, with visible head injuries.

The man was taken to Saint Francis Hospital and died.

The cause of the man’s head damage is being investigated, and his name remains unknown at this time.\

Detectives from Area Three are conducting an inquiry into the man’s death. According to police, no one is being held in jail.
