The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports that deputies discovered the body of 28-year-old Brittany Fuhr-Storms inside a storage tote.

Following an examination, it was determined that Fuhr-Storms was pregnant when she died.

On August 6, deputies conducted a search warrant at Rothensbush’s Logan Avenue house, discovering drug paraphernalia and materials thought to be related to Fuhr-Storms’ death, according to the sheriff’s office.

Rothenbusch eventually admitted to drug trafficking but claimed Fuhr-Storms died at his home in mysterious circumstances.

He allegedly acknowledged storing her body at home for four days before disposing of it, according to authorities.

In addition, a second suspect was identified during the inquiry. Rick Shepard of Middletown also allegedly informed investigators that Fuhr-Storms died at the residence and was kept there for about a week before being disposed of.

Shepard was arrested and accused of abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence.

According to the sheriff’s office, both suspects admitted to being aware of Fuhr-Storms’ pregnancy.

The Middletown Police Department has now taken over the investigation into Fuhr-Storms’ death.
