A woman died, and a man was seriously injured in a head-on collision on Saturday.
At 11:02 a.m., state troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Wilmington Post responded to a crash on State Route 73 in Clinton County, according to an OSHP spokesperson.
Lisa Bush, 56, of Maineville, has been identified as the fatal victim.
CareFlight transported Anton Laskowski III, 19, of Indiana, to Miami Valley Hospital following his significant injuries.
Laskowski was driving a 1998 Dodge Ram westbound on State Route 73, according to the initial inquiry. He failed to navigate a bend and lost control of his vehicle, forcing him to drift left of center.
The Dodge Ram collided head-on with Bush’s 2023 Buick Enclave.
A third vehicle, a 2021 Ford F-250, was traveling westbound on State Route 73 when it collided with road debris caused by the incident. It rendered the truck inoperable.
Bush was pronounced deceased on the scene.
David Roeper, 76, of Florida, drove the Ford F-250. He was not harmed.
The crash is still under investigation.
