A TikTok video posted last week showed two persons involved in a fatal street racing crash in New Jersey being extradited after being caught in Miami.
Officials said an investigation revealed that Alvi Limani, 20, of Staten Island, was reportedly racing on the Garden State Parkway on June 29 when his BMW collided with two other vehicles and flipped over multiple times.
Albion Hysenaj, 20, also from Staten Island, died after being ejected from Limani’s vehicle. Another passenger who was ejected sustained significant injuries and was sent to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
Limani and another passenger who was not ejected from the car allegedly fled the scene of the crash.
Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Colonel Patrick J. Callahan of the New Jersey State Police reported that police discovered Limani was attempting to flee the country by traveling to Miami with his mother, Vilma Vneshta, 42.
Limani and Vneshta were captured on July 17 near Miami and jailed pending extradition to New Jersey.
A video posted last week by TikTok user @Jhongb85 showed a heavy police presence at a New York airport as Limani and Vneshta were led down a stairway and into a police vehicle.
Officials stated Limani was accused of a list of charges, including:
- First-degree aggravated manslaughter

- Second-degree knowingly leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death
- Third-degree causing death while driving with a suspended license
- Two counts of third-degree endangering an injured victim

Emily Harrington, 19, of Staten Island, the passenger who reportedly fled the scene with Limani, was charged with third-degree impeding, fourth-degree obstruction, and fourth-degree conspiracy to endanger others.
Jeter Ogando, 23, of Perth Amboy, who reportedly drove the other vehicle involved in the racing incident, was charged with second-degree vehicular homicide, third-degree endangering another, and fourth-degree assault by auto.
The probe is still active and ongoing.
