Police on Monday released photos of two women wanted for stealing from a Chinese buffet in the Bronx last month and beating a man who intervened.
It happened at around 6:40 p.m. on Monday, July 28, inside the Merry Land Buffet at 505 East 163rd St. in Morrisania.

According to officials, two suspects took stuff and tried to flee without paying.
When confronted by a 44-year-old male, the suspects hit him in the head several times, inflicting pain and swelling, according to authorities.
The suspects then escaped on foot to an unknown destination.
EMS brought the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, where he was stable.
