A joint drug trafficking investigation led to the arrest of four people and the seizure of a considerable number of various narcotics from a residence.
Pike County District Attorney Ray Tonkin and Wayne County District Attorney A.G. Howell have announced a combined investigation into drug trafficking in the Hawley-Palmyra area of Wayne and Pike counties.
Following the inquiry, a search warrant was requested for a home in the 700 block of Church Street in Hawley.
Investigators stated that they discovered a considerable amount of methamphetamine and marijuana at the residence, as well as more than $4,000 in cash.
After the methamphetamine trafficking investigation was finished, detectives announced that criminal charges had been brought against the following four individuals:
- Tami Frick, 60, of Hawley, charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance
- Maryann Caggiano, 68, of Hawley, charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance
- Stephen Chicoski, 35, of Waymart, was charged with the crimes of theft and receiving stolen property for a previous vehicle theft
- Lisa Perkowski, 42, of Hawley, was charged with the crimes of theft, receiving stolen property for a previous vehicle theft
The Wayne County District Attorney’s Office will prosecute the case.
