The Arizona Department of Public Safety cancelled a Silver Alert for 85-year-old Ascencion Olea Torrez on Sunday after it was issued earlier in the day.
Torrez was discovered safe and well about 4 p.m. by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The last sighting of the 5-foot-6, 150-pound Torrez was near the intersection of Stapley Road and Main Street in Mesa.
He had on a red and black flannel jacket, black jeans, and spectacles.
Torrez suffers from a medical condition that could potentially lead to confusion.
