Helicopter Crash at Skagit Regional Airport Leaves Two Injured

Two people suffered injuries when a helicopter crashed at Skagit Regional Airport on Monday morning.

According to the Port of Skagit, the helicopter’s tail struck a pole during takeoff. The pilot and a passenger were taken to Skagit Valley Hospital with minor injuries. The aircraft involved was a Robinson 44 (R44).

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has launched an investigation into the crash. Officials are urging witnesses or anyone with information to contact the NTSB.
