Dallas Man Taken Into Custody For Violent Weekend Crime Spree

A man is in custody and facing multiple charges following a violent crime spree in Dallas on Sunday afternoon.

Investigators believe Brittian Valentine argued with a man before stabbing him, leaving him critically injured.

Minutes later, police claimed he stole two victims’ cars at knifepoint and threatened another man with the knife.

All of this happened within a 30-minute period on Sunday afternoon at several spots along Harry Hines Boulevard.

When police arrived at a homeless shelter to apprehend him, he allegedly attempted to flee.

Valentine has now been charged with aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon, robbery, illegal use of a vehicle, resisting arrest, and evading arrest.

There is no indication of the motive for the crime spree.

Police said none of the victims knew Valentine.
