The man accused of raping a 15-year-old girl in the Bronx has been apprehended after days of seeking, authorities said.
Zahir Goodman, 18, was arrested Wednesday morning and charged with numerous counts of rape and sexual abuse, among other crimes.
Goodman is accused of raping the girl on Sunday, August 10, in the Bronx. Before Goodman was arrested, police searched for him for several days.
On Tuesday, the victim’s mother demanded justice against the alleged perpetrator of her daughter. “I only want justice for my daughter, please. “I can’t sleep at night, and she’s only 15,” she explained.
Goodman, of the Bronx, was also charged of sexual misconduct and harassment.
