Second Local Mother Accused Of Encouraging Brawl Among Kids Detained

Police arrested a second woman following a brawl involving two mothers and six teenagers near North College Hill High School.

Shevonne Long was arrested Thursday morning.

Long posted on Facebook that her son and nephew had been jumped and that she was defending them.

Video of the violence has already been reportedly posted on Facebook.

Superintendent Eugene Blalock reported that on the second day of school, he witnessed parents encouraging a “vicious” brawl between two boys, with other students joining in. The commotion erupted that afternoon just up the street from North College Hill City School’s district headquarters.
