The arrests occurred during proactive patrols by the Portland Central Precinct Bike Squad, when a sergeant discovered a suspected drug deal near Pioneer Courthouse Square.
Michael B. Dooley was arrested and taken to the Multnomah County Detention Center. He was charged with two counts of a felon in possession of prohibited firearms, as well as possession and delivery of a controlled substance.
Later last night, the PPB coordinated a multi-task force, which resulted in the seizure of substantial amounts of drugs and cash, as well as the arrest of three more suspected drug dealers who were discovered in separate locations. Their identities have not yet been revealed.
FBI agents, investigators from Portland’s Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit, and Clackamas County Sheriff’s officers joined forces with the Central Bike Squad officers.
They apprehended three suspects on Southwest 12th Avenue and Southwest Harvey Milk Street, Southwest 14th Avenue and Southeast Columbia Street, and Southwest 15th Avenue and Southwest Taylor Street.
