Over 1,100 Grams Of Different Drugs Discovered During Ohio Drug Trafficking Investigation

Over 1,100 grams of different drugs were discovered during a drug trafficking investigation in Ohio last week.

The Hancock County METRICH Drug Task Force and the Hancock County Special Response Team (SRT) supported the FBI and Task Force Officers (TFOs) with various search warrants on Wednesday, Aug. 20, about 7:30 p.m., according to a Hancock County Sheriff’s Department social media post.

The searches turned up a total of 1,169.25 grams of various substances, including 500 grams of cocaine, 500 grams of ketamine, 144 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 25.25 grams of MDMA, and 129 suspected acid tabs.

The sheriff’s office also discovered other things indicating narcotics trafficking.

The ongoing inquiry has yet to reveal any suspect information.

At the conclusion of the investigation, the METRICH Drug Task Force anticipates filing additional drug trafficking charges.
