Two Jackson police officers have been arrested after allegedly participating in an altercation at a Walmart in Ridgeland.
According to the Jackson Police Department, a “physical altercation” happened between off-duty JPD officers Jordan J. Lewis and Terrinesheya N. Dampeer and Walmart employee Demichael Allen on Saturday at about 9:30 p.m.
The Ridgeland Police Department arrested both policemen and the Walmart employee. All three were charged with disorderly conduct and interference with business. All were released on a $1,000 bond.
Lewis and Dampeer have been placed on administrative leave pending the results of the investigation.
