A man accused of committing multiple sex crimes against children has been apprehended by detectives from Constable Mark Herman’s Special Victims Unit (SVU).
Investigators investigated a claim on Tuesday, August 26, discovering that 34-year-old Christopher Ballard had several victims. Based on the investigation, the Harris County District Attorney’s Office accepted multiple first-degree felony charges for child sexual abuse.
Detectives from the SVU, along with members of the Special Operations Unit (SOU), apprehended Ballard without incident.
Ballard was taken to Harris County Jail, where he was booked and charged. His bond was set at $200,000 by the 262nd District Court.
