4 People Detained After Trying To Run From Police On Blighted Property

Four people were detained on a blighted property after police said they were wanted on a variety of felonies.

Butler Township Police said the following four people were detained on Wednesday afternoon, following an investigation at a blighted property:

Officers reported that while patrolling, they noticed Brotzman, a wanted woman, dash into a home in the 170 block of Freedom Road in Drums. When police attempted to arrest Brotzman, two other men fled into a small garage and closed the door.

Brotzman, who was wanted for resisting arrest and drug-related crimes, was found hiding on the side of the house and detained.

Investigators soon discovered that other wanted suspects were on the site and inside the house.

According to the release, Beritcho attempted to flee through a second-story window before retreating as cops surrounded the house. Beritcho was wanted for robbery-related crimes. Detectives discovered Lindemuth hiding in a basement crawl space, and both Luzerne and Carbon counties wanted him for DUI.

Recklitis, the primary resident of the house, was discovered barricaded inside the garage. He was wanted for narcotics and handgun crimes. Following Wednesday’s arrest, Recklitis was charged with obstructing apprehension.
