Dacara Rose Thompson, 19, went missing in Prince George’s County more than a week ago, and her family and community are asking for answers.
Thompson was last seen on the night of August 22, 2025, after leaving her father’s home in Lanham. Relatives said she told him she was going to get petrol nearby and would return, but she never did.

On Sunday, August 31, many gathered to pray at the location where the car was discovered.
She is described as 5-foot-2, weighing approximately 105 pounds, with long brown hair and brown eyes. She has a nose ring and tattoos on both her right and left arms. She was wearing pants and a dark jacket when she went missing.
