Two Pennsylvania residents have been charged with election fraud in separate cases, one for the 2020 election and the other for the 2024 election.
United States Attorney David Metcalf of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania announced the charges on Friday.

According to Metcalf, Bethlehem resident Matthew Laiss was charged with one count of voting more than once in a federal election and one count of voter fraud.
Laiss went from Bucks County, Pennsylvania, to Frostproof, Florida, and supposedly voted in both states.
Laiss is accused of using a Pennsylvania mail ballot in October 2020 and voting in person in Florida.
Miya Peck of Philadelphia was charged with one count of voting multiple times in a federal election and one count of voter fraud.
Peck is accused of being registered to vote in Bergen County, New Jersey, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, since 2004 and 2016, respectively.
Metcalf alleges that Peck voted early in New Jersey on October 26, 2024, then in person on Election Day in Philadelphia.
If convicted, Peck and Laiss risk a potential punishment of five years in jail, three years of supervised release, and a fine.
