A Clarksville man was charged with drug possession following a traffic stop on Pembroke Oak Grove Road in Oak Grove on Saturday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies claim they stopped a car driven by 44-year-old Dejuan Howard because it had blue lights installed in its front and back bumpers.
During the stop, he was allegedly discovered to have a suspended DUI license and an altered registration plate.
After being taken to jail, deputies claim he removed his shoe, which contained a white powdery substance suspected to be cocaine.
Howard was charged with second-degree cocaine possession, first-degree promoting contraband, tampering with physical evidence, displaying an illegal/altered registration plate, driving on a revoked license due to a DUI, and using blue lights improperly.
