A 28-year-old Kissimmee man, Quan Chen, was arrested by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office on Sunday, September 7th, after being found at a Best Buy in Davenport. Chen was wanted in Orange County on outstanding charges for grand theft and a scheme to defraud.
The arrest unfolded when a PCSO deputy saw Chen’s empty black Mazda in the parking lot of the Best Buy at Posner Park. The deputy went into the store and found Chen at the Geek Squad desk.
When the deputy attempted to detain him, Chen allegedly tried to flee. However, the deputy was able to take him into custody without additional trouble.
Following his arrest, Quan Chen was taken to the Polk County Jail. He is being jailed on Orange County warrants and charged with resisting an officer.
