The confrontation heated up when the suspect allegedly pulled out a weapon after pretending to be interested in paying for the merchandise.

According to the Houston Police Robbery Division blog, the victim, who appeared to be in danger, managed to flee and report the crime to local authorities.

A Houston Police Robbery Detective conducted a thorough investigation and identified Driver as a potential suspect in the case.

The victim later confirmed the identification, and charges of aggravated robbery were filed on May 15, 2025.

It appears that when Houston police officers attempted to serve the felony warrant at the driver’s home on May 21, the suspect attempted to flee on foot.

However, his effort was foiled, and he was arrested, as reported by the Houston Police Robbery Division blog.

The driver faces significant allegations, including aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon and avoiding arrest, which have been filed in the 232nd State District Court. The Houston Police Robbery Division blog published Jordan Driver’s booking photos, cementing the story with photographic evidence of his arrest.
