Two women from Passaic are facing charges for allegedly shoplifting from a HomeGoods store at 50 International Drive South and fraudulently obtaining a gift card, according to police.

Police said they came to the store on March 15 at 5:05 p.m. for an allegation of past-tense theft. According to a store investigator, two women entered the store, chose stuff, and returned it in exchange for a $139.98 gift card. After obtaining the gift card, they allegedly removed more products for $50.97, including a planter and artificial flowers, and departed the business without paying.
