Police: Man said ‘God told him to’ molest 15-year-old girl at Miami bus stop

A man who allegedly groped a 15-year-old girl at a Miami bus stop claimed “God told him to” do it, police said.

Jimmy Seiber, 42, is charged with lewd and lascivious molestation of a child aged 12 to 16 following an alleged incident on Friday morning.

According to the arrest complaint, the teen was at a bus stop near Northeast 162nd Street and Northeast 6th Avenue when a stranger, Seiber, approached her and asked if he may touch her.

She answered no and got up to go away, but he followed her and touched her breast, according to the report.

According to the report, the teen confronted him and asked why he touched her, to which he responded that “he wanted to make babies with her and loves her.”

She called the police, who responded and arrested Seiber.

While in jail, he spontaneously stated that he did not touch anyone and that if he did, it was because God instructed him to, according to the report.

Seiber was arrested and taken to jail. A judge eventually set his bond at $15,000, but he was still detained since records revealed he was already on probation for two prior instances, including a carjacking robbery with aggravated battery and a battery and aggravated attack on a law enforcement officer.
