UPDATE: The Wadsworth Police Department has confirmed that Iyzabelle has been found and is safe.
ORIGINAL: Police in Wadsworth are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 13-year-old girl who left her home on Tuesday afternoon and has been missing since.
According to the Wadsworth Police Department, Iyzabelle Swartzentruber left her home on foot at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday following an argument near Mills Street and South Pardee.
Swartzentruber stands 5-foot-3, weighs around 104 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes, according to police. She was last spotted wearing a red T-shirt with black and white shorts.
Wadsworth police stated Wednesday morning that investigators are still following up on leads and believe Swartzentruber left with the intent to flee.
