Recently, a group of students in the Future Farmers of America (FFA) club went down to Denver, Colorado to see the National Western Stock Show. They went down on Wednesday, January 18th, and stayed down until the 22nd.

While the group was down they were able to make time for a few tours as well. Jade Swan said, “We went to the Colorado Serum, Denver Mint, Hammonds Candy, Farmbox Foods Vertical Farming, and the PRCA – Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association – Hall Of Fame.”

Other students that went on the trip talked about how much fun it was, even though it was only 4 days long. They couldn’t come to an agreement on whether they had a favorite tour or not. Jade said that she favored their time at the PRCA, where she had the most fun. She had said that it was fun to go witness all of the “biggest pros of rodeo” in one place and see what they were famous for. The club attended many events, however, they admitted to spending most of their days in Colorado at the stock shows.

Only a few students were able to go to Denver this year, but many hope to be able to participate in trips with the FFA more often after hearing the positive feedback from those who attended.
