On Friday, October 10, the Jennings County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) detained a Madison man on felony charges for child molestation.
JCSO detectives launched an investigation after being approached by the family of a 12-year-old juvenile who said that a 21-year-old family acquaintance, Kamron Scroggin, assaulted them. Detective Allen Ritchie, with the assistance of the Indiana Department of Child Services, arrested Kameron Scroggin, 21, of Madison, on a Jennings County Circuit Court arrest warrant for child molesting.
Kameron Scroggin is being held in the Jennings County Jail without bond for the preliminary allegations listed below:
- Child Molesting- Level 3 Felony
- Sexual Misconduct with a Minor-Level 5
