Jamestown police said the stop occurred on the city’s south side near the intersection of Cole Avenue and Snell Place around 8:16 Saturday evening, and they discovered a total of 248.5 grams (8.76 ounces) of meth and heroin.

Police claimed Anderson was in possession of 241.9 grams of meth and 6.6 grams of fentanyl, all individually wrapped, as well as a digital scale and other drug paraphernalia. Hurlburt was reportedly alleged to have an unidentified amount of meth and cocaine, as well as an outstanding parole warrant from Pennsylvania.

Anderson faces charges of second-, third-, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, as well as second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia. Hurlburt was charged with fugitive from justice and two charges of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled drug.

Both were kept in the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.
