The Geauga County Sheriff’s Office revealed that two more individuals have been arrested following a terrifying home invasion and robbery attempt.
Investigators were seeking them after three persons violently assaulted an Amish dad and his son in their home.
It happened Thursday, October 9, at the family’s home on Newcomb Road in Middlefield Township.
According to Geauga County Sheriff Scott Hildenbrand, the three suspects punched the man in the head, causing bleeding and swelling, and demanded money before threatening to kill him and abduct his 8-year-old son.
According to officials, they used a stun device on both the youngster and the man before dragging him off to their stolen pickup truck. However, the boy managed to break free.
On Tuesday, the sheriff’s office announced the arrest of Canton resident Bradford Hosler, 33.
The sheriff’s office announced Wednesday that it had discovered two more suspects.
The sheriff reported the arrest of William Hatfield and Randall Cromer in Canton on Wednesday morning.
Their first court appearance has yet to be announced.
Hosler appeared in Chardon Municipal Court on Tuesday morning, charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, and aggravated kidnapping.
