Police tracked down a cellphone number they suspected was used by several people transporting fentanyl from California to Portland, resulting in the stops of two cars, four arrests, and the seizure of several bricks of the powdered drug branded with the usurped San Francisco 49ers logo, according to prosecutors.
The first arrests were made in January when Portland police got a warrant to locate a cellphone number used by someone known as “Josh,” according to Assistant U.S. Attorney Cassady Adams.
