An Ohio pastor has been apprehended on rape and other charges, according to the Wilmington Police Department.
Silas Shelton was taken into jail on October 15, according to authorities.

Shelton, who lives in Warren County, is a pastor at a church in Clinton County, the department stated.
According to police, he faces the following charges:
- Rape
- Sexual battery
- Unlawful sexual conduct with a minor
- Gross sexual imposition
According to Wilmington police, Shelton is being held on a $2 million bond.
He is set to appear in court at 11 a.m. on October 22.
Police said they would not disclose any additional information.
