A man wanted out of Florida for probation violations related to murder, robbery, and aggravated violence was apprehended in Miami after being spotted last week near an Oklahoma mall, according to authorities.
The Tulsa Police Department reports that they spotted fugitive Jesus Jimenez, 35, near the Woodland Hills Mall in Tulsa on October 10. Detectives from Tulsa’s Fugitive Warrants Unit collaborated with the US Marshals Service to locate him.
Jimenez was apprehended early Thursday morning at a Miami hotel, according to police.
Details about the original event that led to Jimenez’s arrest have not been revealed.
He was detained and taken to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
