HILLCREST HEIGHTS, Md. — Police are investigating after two people tried to carjack a driver, who fired back at them, on Monday afternoon.
The Prince George’s County Police Department reported that the incident occurred in the 3500 block of Branch Avenue.
Investigators say the driver was sitting in his car when two people approached and attempted to carjack him. He then drew a gun and fired. The suspects fled after the shooting.
Police have not released any information about the suspects. No injuries have been reported.
