A driver made a shocking find on the New York Thruway: a four-year-old walking alone!
Two adults were taken into custody after a child was discovered walking down a highway in upstate New York.

On Friday, the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation arrested Robert L. Lyman, 31, and Mikayla A. Miller, 30, both of Silver Creek, New York, on charges of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
On Wednesday, at about 6:10 p.m., New York State Police covering the Thruway in the Buffalo area responded to I-90 westbound in Silver Creek.
According to the Hudson Valley Post, police responded quickly when a child was discovered on the side of the Thruway.
A car traveling on a large highway noticed the young child at the “enter the roadway.” The driver pulled over and called 911.
The driver also assisted the child off of the road until the cops arrived.
4-Year-Old Child Found On Thruway
Police quickly discovered that the child is only four years old and that Lyman and Miller’s residence is not far from Interstate 90.
Around the same time, Child Protective Services paid an unannounced visit and discovered that the 4-year-old child was not at home.
They began searching for the child and soon discovered New York State Police in the area.
Police then informed everyone involved that the child had been discovered in good health.
Lyman and Miller were arrested. Police did not reveal their relationship with the child, but local reports indicate they are the child’s parents.
“Child Protective Services are working with the family on the safety of the children,” New York State Police stated.
