A 16-year-old was fatally shot in the head on a Brooklyn sidewalk Saturday night, and his killer is still at large, according to authorities.
Police responded to a 911 call on Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights at 8:47 p.m. and discovered the teen unresponsive. According to authorities, EMTs pronounced him deceased at the site.
Tyson Harps of the Bronx had a gunshot wound to the head.
His mother spent Sunday at the morgue, identifying her son’s body, according to mourning relatives.
“She’s not taking it easy,” the dead teen’s older cousin, who identified herself as Amarah, told The Post.
“He was a cool cousin,” Amarah said of Tyson.
“It came out of nowhere,” she added of the death of her cousin, who has three younger siblings.
“He’s a good kid. All I know is he was with his friends.”
An NYPD representative said on Sunday that the matter is still being investigated and that no arrests have been made.
