Multi County Florida Fugitive Taken Into Custody In Lakeland

A multi-county fugitive was taken into custody during an early morning patrol in Lakeland on Monday.

Polk County Deputy Sheriff Annucci was on duty in the early morning when she received information that a wanted individual was at a residence on Lakewood Circle.

Mikhail Sabroche, 22, was identified as the suspect, and he was wanted on many active warrants from across Florida. Deputy Annucci successfully tracked down Sabroche and arrested him at his Lakeland residence.

Sabroche’s legal difficulties extend to both southeast and northwest Florida. He had an active warrant from Broward County (in the Fort Lauderdale region) for burglary of a dwelling and grand theft. Simultaneously, he was wanted in Citrus County (in the Inverness region) for probation violation, which stemmed from an original conviction of battery on a detained person.

Due to the active warrants, Sabroche was transported to the Polk County Sheriff’s Processing Center in Bartow without incident for formal booking.
