On Monday, November 3, 2025, a Brinks armored truck driver was pistol-whipped and robbed outside a Navy Federal Credit Union in the 8800 block of Woodyard Road, with about $500,000 reportedly taken.
Officers were called to the scene of an armed robbery involving many suspects. According to officials, at least one assailant had a handgun.
