Two people were taken into custody late Friday night after a Columbia County Sheriff’s Office K9 deputy discovered a big amount of drugs during a traffic check on I-90/94/39 in the Town of Dekorra.

According to the sheriff’s office, the stop took place about 10:40 p.m. on November 7, when a deputy pulled over a car for an equipment violation. During the inquiry, the deputy discovered that the passenger used a fictitious name and attempted to conceal illegal narcotics in plain sight.
