Lottery Vending Machine Error Leads Ohio Woman To Win Over $50,000

An Ohio woman pushed the wrong button on an Ohio Lottery vending machine, set a series of events that resulted in her winning over $50,000.

Nancy, a Minister resident, told Ohio Lottery officials that her luck began when she accidentally hit the wrong button while using a self-serve kiosk at Wagners IGA on East 4th Street in Minister, resulting in a Cash Explosion ticket she had not intended to purchase.

The ticket gave her the opportunity to win enormous money in the lottery’s Cash Explosion TV series.

She won $7,500 in the first round of the show, then $50,000 in the “Second Chance” Cash Challenge.

Nancy also won $1,000 worth of Win It All tickets, which earned her an additional $785.

The winner stated that she and her husband plan to use the winnings to build an addition to their home.
