Mississippi 18-year-old Detained For Indecent Behavior With Livingston Parish Juvenile: Deputies

An 18-year-old from Mississippi was detained after deputies said he had “sexually illicit” communications with a Livingston Parish juvenile.

According to the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office, detectives from the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, with assistance from the Office of Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill and the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, have launched an investigation into a complaint of indecent behavior with a juvenile.

“During the investigation, the suspect was identified as 18-year-old Colby Tyler Jones,” said Sheriff Jason Ard. According to Sheriff Ard, Jones is a resident of Foxworth, Mississippi.

According to officials, during the investigation, detectives determined Jones was communicating with a juvenile victim in Livingston Parish, and the discussions were sexually illegal.

He was arrested at the Livingston Parish Detention Center for indecent behavior with a juvenile and computer-aided solicitation of a minor.
