Over several days, law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, DEA Houston Division, U.S. Marshals Service, and Texas Department of Public Safety, joined forces to apprehend those wanted for aggravated robbery, sexual assault, crimes against children, and other severe felonies.
According to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, the operation resulted in 80 arrests and the clearance of 103 warrants, including 96 felony warrants and 53 for crimes against children.

Gonzalez reminded them of the importance of taking action against violent fugitives for the sake of community safety.
“We know this work will stop these suspects from inflicting more harm on our neighbors, friends, and families,” Gonzalez said. “When warrants are issued for these violent crimes, every day the target remains free. It is another day for them to hurt someone. We can’t let that happen.”
The sheriff described a significant arrest that exemplifies the types of violent individuals the task team seeks to pursue.
“One of the most significant arrests involved Joshua Aaron Gomez, who has been linked to multiple sexual assaults and misconduct spanning from 2019 to 2025,” Gonzalez said.
Gomez, a former chiropractor whose license was revoked in 2019, is accused of using his position to assault women while claiming to be providing medical care. Thirteen women have come forward, and several felony charges have been brought.
“We are not just clearing warrants, we are protecting survivors, interrupting cycles of violence and making sure those who harm others cannot continue doing so,” he said.
