A joint operation between Prescott Valley Police Department SWAT and Criminal Investigation units, Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office SWAT and Criminal Investigation units, and the Partners Against Narcotics Trafficking Task Force resulted in the arrest of two Prescott Valley men for multiple shootings.
On November 23rd, around 1:11 a.m., cops and deputies were investigating a shooting at a house party near the intersection of Spouse Dr. and Carla Vista Rd. There were no injuries. As law enforcement personnel were conducting their investigation, three more bullets were fired, seemingly in their direction. Again, no one was injured, although one YCSO patrol car was hit in the second shooting. The two men who shot at law enforcement officers were arrested during Tuesday’s SWAT raid.
The arrested individuals are a 21-year-old adult male and a 17-year-old juvenile male. They face 14 counts of aggravated assault on law enforcement officers and 10 counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon for the shooting on November 23rd.
They are also being charged by YCSO with a drive-by shooting that took place in the 3300 block of Treasure Dr. in the Castle Canyon Mesa area early on November 15th. The two men are also being probed for many other shootings in Prescott Valley and other parts of the state.
