A long-term narcotics investigation led to multiple arrests and the uncovering of hidden tunnels during a search warrant operation in southeast Houston on November 20, 2025.
The Harris County Precinct 8 Street Crimes Unit, in collaboration with Harris County Precinct 2 Special Operations, conducted surveillance in the 10600 block of Kirkdale Drive before serving the warrant. Deputies swiftly apprehended two individuals who attempted to flee as they entered.
Inside the home, police discovered what seemed to be a tiny underground network of tunnels designed to conceal people and drugs. Officers examined the premises and discovered one woman hiding in the tunnel area.
A total of four persons were arrested. A woman with open possession warrants from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office was arrested, while another woman was detained on an overdue parole warrant. One man was detained on felony family violence warrants from Brazoria County, while another was charged with narcotics manufacturing or distribution.
Deputies also found three stolen vehicles—one car and two motorcycles—as well as 79.9 grams of methamphetamine, 0.5 grams of cocaine, and three guns. According to investigators, charges for utility theft at the location remain pending.
