A woman has been arrested more than a month after a hit-and-run crash killed two other women who were fighting on a Houston street.
According to Harris County court records, Ladavia Wilson, 35, is charged with two counts of failing to stop and render aid. The documents were filed on Monday, December 1.

According to records, two women had an altercation in the parking lot of Cullen Food Mart before fighting. The two collapsed on the roadway and fought until a car hit them and went away.
The police pronounced both women dead at the scene.
According to court records, Wilson went to a police station to provide a statement regarding the crash.
Wilson allegedly told a detective that she was driving away from a loved one’s home when she “felt a big impact” under her car. According to the records, Wilson claimed she assumed she hit a pothole and continued driving.
She immediately proceeded to a family member’s apartment and told them she had no idea what she had struck.
An investigator gathered evidence and recorded Wilson’s statements before contacting the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. Wilson was charged, and a counsel accepted the allegations.
Records did not specify when the inquiry began, when Wilson provided her statement, or when the District Attorney’s Office accepted Wilson’s charges.
