A man has been arrested in Pennsylvania and charged with fatally shooting his mother inside their Temple Hills home on Thursday. Damari Lipscomb, 24, is the suspect in the case. He has been charged with the murder of Adia Lipscomb Mingo, 45.
On December 11, 2025, at around 8:50 a.m., officers responded to the 6900 block of Westchester Court for a report of a shooting. Officers discovered the victim inside her residence, suffering from trauma. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The suspect was located in Pennsylvania using various investigation tactics. He was apprehended with the help of the PGPD Fugitive Unit, the US Marshals Service Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force, the Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force, the Pennsylvania State Police, and the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police.
According to the preliminary inquiry, Lipscomb shot his mother in connection with an ongoing dispute. He remains in Pennsylvania awaiting extradition to Prince George’s County.
