Her sentence was based on a conviction of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with fraudulently obtained PPP loans secured under the CARES Act.

She received a $5,000 bonus for each of the $20,832 PPP loans she prepared.

The total loss from the false PPP loan applications she filed was roughly $270,820.33. According to court documents, Sanders has been ordered to repay the money as part of a reparation decision.
