Urgent calls for community help echo through the streets of Chicago as the police department intensifies its search for Martez Smith, a 16-year-old boy reported missing from the Englewood area.
The Chicago Police Department issued a statement indicating that the teenager was last seen on May 17, raising fears about his safety among both citizens and officials.
According to the CPD, Martez stands 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs roughly 130 pounds. He has dark brown eyes, black hair, and a dark brown complexion. He was last spotted wearing a bandana, black jeans, and a red hoodie jacket.
According to the police, he is frequently spotted in the Chesterfield Community and has close ties there, which aids the hunt for the child.
