Cincinnati Father Detained After Police Say They Found Fentanyl Next To Sleeping Toddler

A South Fairmount father is accused of dealing drugs and keeping fentanyl near his sleeping three-year-old daughter.

William McGee, 23, is charged with narcotics trafficking, possession, and child endangerment.

On Thursday, police served a search warrant at McGee’s Saturn Street house. They say they discovered several sachets of fentanyl.

According to court documents, McGee attempted to sweep the fentanyl from a table to the floor. He allegedly swept it into an area where his daughter was sleeping. There have been no reports of her having any fentanyl-related difficulties.

A court ordered McGee to be jailed on a $320,000 bond.
