Pennsylvania Man Sentenced In Prison After Trafficking Stolen Human Remains

Authorities say a Pennsylvania man will serve time in prison for trafficking stolen human remains.

Jeremy Pauley, 43, was sentenced to six years in federal prison on Monday for conspiracy and interstate transportation of stolen property, according to court documents.

Pauley admits to being part of a nationwide network that purchased and sold human remains taken from Harvard Medical School and an Arkansas mortuary.

Authorities said the man was arrested after officers discovered buckets of human remains at his former residence in South Central Pennsylvania.

Pauley received two years of probation in the instance.
