The Chicago Police Department has issued a missing person alert for Earl Mitchell, 66.
A CPD statement states that Earl Mitchell’s last sighting occurred on December 31, 2025, around 11 a.m., near 4300 S. Michigan Avenue in Chicago.
Earl Mitchell is described as a Black male with a medium brown complexion, 6 feet tall, with a weight of 225 to 235 pounds.
He was claimed to be wearing a blue Cubs baseball cap, a black jacket, blue trousers, and black gym shoes when he went missing. He also had brown eyes and was bald.
Wearing a dark jacket, the CPD observes that Mitchell may require medical attention and has a developmental disorder.
The officials are requesting anyone who knows where he is to call them right now. Residents and passersby who may have witnessed something that can throw light on Mitchell’s current location are asked to call 911 or contact Area One police at 312-747-8380. Every tip could potentially lead to his safe return.
